This video portrays 3 cavemen waiting for a mammoth. As they wait, they try to strike up a conversation. This is video is related to a set of tasks that will help students to learn how to fill in awkward silences when talking to strangers.

Level: lower intermediate and upper

Language items: students practice asking "small talk" questions by transforming the cavemen conversation into a 21st century office dialogue.

b) video. The video has been downloaded from youtube and has been created by Hat Trick productions for the BBC.
